2019 Internet Society African Chapters Advocacy Meeting

The 2019 African Chapters Advocacy Meeting will mobilize, empower and engage the African chapters’ representatives to advance the Internet Society 2019 focus areas and initiatives in the Africa region with a special focus on “Building Trust” (IoT Security Campaign, Privacy & Personal Data Protection, Encryption, User Trust and Internet Restrictions). Other participants and fellows will come from the African Union Commission, Regional Economic commissions (RECs), Regional Associations of Regulators and Regulatory Authorities, Omidyar Network and more.
